Our society is far too advanced and dynamic in the present times to be concerned with an outdated idea like DST. I am advocating for the complete abandonment of this practice in the United States. The great state of Arizona doesn't participate in DST and studies show the residents there are completely fine. With advances in technology and more people on variable schedules for a myriad of different activities, resetting clocks twice a year is more of a nuisance for millions of Americans than an appreciated savings of any kind. The costs of this program far outweigh the benefits. Let's all band together and do the commonsense thing and finally put an end to DST.
