End Daylight Savings Time

Created by J.S. on April 24, 2013

Daylight savings time began during the 1930's under President Franklin D. Roosevelt to help farmers have more sunlight to harvest their crops. Since the United States is no longer a rural society, this purpose no longer applies to modern society. Changing the time in Spring and in Fall is more of an inconvenience than a benefit to most Americans. It's likely that people are more unproductive for the week or so after the time change. Let's end this practice of changing the time twice per year which serves very little useful purpose in modern America!
