We petition for an end to daylight savings time. Modern research has shown that it not only doesn't save energy, but may actually cause us to more energy. Historically it was invented as a joke by Ben Franklin that no one should actually take seriously. It causes confusion in communications and technology. It literally costs every American an hour of sleep each Spring. It has no redeeming value. Please end this madness.
