The practice of setting the clocks forward in the Spring and back in the Fall is an antiquated practice that is unnecessary. We are not gaining or losing daylight, only changing how early or late daylight is. There is no evidence to support success of this practice based on the goals it wishes to achieve. On the contrary, there is evidence that there are increased motor accidents and poor health outcomes associated with the practice.
