Dear Mr. President,
Please end the antiquated policy of daylight saving time.
Leave the east coast on daylight saving time. (Not setting the clock back in November). The winter months are difficult enough to get through without the extra hour of darkness beginning in the late afternoon. It would afford people an extra hour of productivity after work for outdoor activities. Although nothing can ever be done without a group of people complaining, I truly believe this would be a very popular action on your part. There are many states already considering legislation. There is also research where removing this burden could provide the ability for the US to move to two time zones versus four, further enhancing productivity. Thank you for your consideration, We The People
