End Daylight Savings time changes

Created by P.S. on November 08, 2011

We seek to abolish daylight savings time, which is no longer of use to the country, or to farmers, as the myth tends to go. There are studies that suggest it can harm one's sleep routine, as well as overall health, and the winter time change brings more evening darkness, which has been linked to winter depression.

Daylight saving time began in the United States during World War I, primarily to save fuel by reducing the need to use artificial lighting. Although some states and communities observed daylight saving time between the wars, it was not observed nationally again until World War II.

Other than that, there is no need for it.
