End Daylight Savings time. Global warming increases as energy use does during DST. It's cost outweighs the benefit.

Created by P.K. on March 14, 2016

End Daylight Savings time. Global warming is caused by increased energy use. Carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere. Congress is already considering proposals to cap emissions of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping pollutants from America's largest sources -- power plants, industrial facilities and transportation fuels. The United States is the largest source of global warming pollution. We produce 25 percent of the carbon dioxide pollution - more than China, India and Japan combined. While the benefit of Daylight Savings Time is that extra hour of 'fun in the sun' every evening it is in place, the cost is melting glaciers, rising sea levels, more mosquito-borne illnesses, severe hurricanes and droughts. The price far outweighs the benefit. End DST before it's too late.
