Pain management patients across the country are having to go without their medications because of the acts of a small group due to the intimidation tactics of the dea and their war on pain clinics and doctors. Myself and others like me understand that some people may abuse pain medications but not everyone who is in need of medications like oxycontin, oxycodone, hydrocodone, morphine etc... are addicts just people in severe pain who are being abused by government efforts to ban such medications. Doctors are being treated as if they are drug dealers, patients as addicts, and for what? I cannot get the medication I was taking nor can many others and we live in agony with severe limitations due to dea efforts, we should not be neglected nor left in pain because some people abuse pain meds!
