End the DIC/SBP Offset for widow(er)s of Honorably Retired Disabled Military Veterans.

Created by C.S. on June 17, 2014

"Current law unfairly makes military survivors forfeit part or all of their military Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) annuity when military service causes the member’s death."
http://www.moaa.org/main_article.aspx?id=8190

No other retirement plans are subject to this offset, not private retirements, other employer retirement, nor federal retirement, only the Military are unfairly subject to this. Many War Veterans spouses are unable to earn any other retirement due to caring for their veterans & those who served prior to 9/11/01 receive no compensation for their "care giving" services to their spouse.

End this injustice, provide the full benefit promised to the widow(er)s of these honorable dedicated service members.

We need our President to write an executive order to correct this.
