It seems that the two houses in the U.S. legislature cannot agree on what to do for (largely) the national budget. Their lack of compromise is hurting the American people, mentally and economically. What we need is for the Congress to work collectively and understand that if they don't, they will collectively receive the dissatisfaction from the American people.
Congress' approval rating was reported on CBS News on November 20, 2011 as 9 percent. Why is this? The dis-unification of Congress is upsetting the American people, and we the people of the United States of America desire a unified government in our time of need.
Congress needs to stop pointing fingers and compromise on the issues facing our country today. We have only made it this far by working together, and we cannot stop now.
