End disbility SSI to those who can clearly participate in the workforce and reform qualifications!

I am a physician. I see patients come into my office and ask to be put on disability for conditions such as depression, bipolar, anxiety, and chronic pain. Some are genuine, but a vast majority can easily participate in our workforce to some extent. We need to reform how those individuals qualify for this benefit. Specialists in their field need to evaluate these patients and determine if they qualify based on strictor guidelines. Primary physicians should NOT have the right to make such a decision. It should be specialists in the field of the specific condition/disability in question. We need to be more vigilant in the fight against fraud. We need to fight against John Smith with the "bum" leg who manages to shovel his driveway every winter yet collects money out of our pockets!
