end discrimination and denial of services regarding gender, race, sexuality and all the like.

Created by K.P. on July 01, 2015

We as the minority think it should be considered and charged as a "hate crime" for any business or similar entity to deny service and rights to any person based on gender, gender identity, sexuality, race, religion, age, disability, etc. But being denied such rights and services takes away our feeling of freedom in American and only increases prejudice and discomfort in our own country. We shouldn't have to feel the need to feel like second-class citizens in our own country. So, whether it be a sign in a window or a verbal denial, these acts should be deemed as "hate crimes". The punishment may be more of a minor offensive, as compared to physical assaults or physical threats, but nonetheless, this is in fact hate and discrimination and should not be tolerated or left unjudged.
