It was only forty-seven years ago when the Federal government stepped in to end marriage discrimination based upon race. Today we face the same type of discrimination, humiliation and sub-human treatment as gay, lesbian or bisexual citizens. This petition requests that the Executive Branch of Government takes action to stop further discrimination based on sexual orientation and provide full and complete enactment of the Civil Rights guaranteed to ALL American's under the Constitution, by ordering that GLB persons be free of job discrimination and free to enjoy the happiness, protection and full liberty of marriage. Civil Rights are HUMAN Rights and should not be handed out based upon the personal, chosen, religious beliefs of some - but granted under the guarantees of our country.
