END DISCRIMINATON IN THE WORKPLACE FOR TATTOOED AND PIERCED EMPLOYEES

Created by B.B. on January 09, 2013

While a tattoo used to be a sign of a being a gang member, today it's part of culture, part of art and a part of life. However, that does not mean that all employers see tattoos and body piercings as welcome additions to the "dress code." Many employers DO discriminate against those with tattoos and piercings; sadly and more so disappointingly it's legal. Some people still find tattoos and piercings offensive! Because it is is still legal those of us with piercings and tattoos are subject to the type of work we are able to apply for and be hired for. Just because we are inked/pierced doesn't mean we aren't educated or the best person for the job we are interviewing for. EQUAL RIGHTS FOR INKED & PIERCED!
