End the discriminatory process of only allowing men to be required to register for the Selective Service

Women have proved themselves in the United States military for decades and in other countries like Israel. We want equal treatment under the law by being required to register with the Selective Service. As equal citizens we demand equal treatment and responsibility under the law. We should be required to register alongside our brothers, fathers, uncles, and husbands. Women have unique perspectives that can be brought to the battlefield to make our military strong. We humbly implore President Obama, a fierce defender of women's rights, to once again end the discrimination and give women equality before the law.
