America is supposed to be the land of the free, home of the brave. Forcing our young men and now possibly young women into complusory military service is a slap in the face to that statement. Forcing young men and women to pause their lives and go fight in a war that they may or may not believe in is both morally and constitionally wrong. No one, especially not our government, should have such life or death control over our lives. One of the best things about our country is that we all get to make our own choices, live our lives and persue happiness! Our country is full of brave men and women who volunteer and keep our country safe everday. No one should be forced to fight and the selective service is nothing short of Russian Roulette for our people.
