END DRILLING NEAR GLACIER! As an LL.M. of Energy Law at U.T, supportive of Nat Gas. but set a perimeter, too far POTUS!

Created by R.L. on April 29, 2013

Im concerned about the natural gas drilling/ exploration being authorized outside of Glacier National Park. The glaciers within the park are already melting at exponential rates. And there was a horrific forest fire that completely defaced the Eastern entrance the park. Don't add insult to injury. It's arguably our most gorgeous national park. Nat. gas can be very beneficial for our country and to establish energy independence. This is coming from a girl who grew up in Pittsburgh (Shale Gas capital) and who is going to get her LLM from University of Texas. So Im open to shale gas drilling. BUT there are limits and this has certainly crossed it. This really will affect the park and the protected wildlife inside it. I could keep going on but gov't apparently can't spare more characters.
