"America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand." - Harry Truman
I wish this was true, Mr. Truman. America may not have been built on fear, but it's eating away at us like a parasite. This is none more evident than pre-employment drug screens & random drug screens, where a failed test is grounds for termination. If the test is refused, it is assumed said person is a "druggie" and termination is guaranteed. Asking for someone to provide a urine sample is humiliating, and an invasion of privacy. Hard drugs have a shorter half-life than say, cannabinoids, whereas cannabis is legal in some states. A crack head can clean their system quicker than say, a Colorado tourist.
End this illegal invasion of privacy.
