Prohibition gave us Al Capone and organized crime. The war on drugs has given us Cartels and corruption throughout government on all levels.
Presidents, legislatures, actors and all manor of creative and effective people have used illegal drugs. If people want to use drugs, the will, law or no law.
Repeal the Controlled Substance Act, Abolish the DEA and release drug war prisoners. Admit that government made a mistake, and correct it. Stop funding anything to do with this insane drug war.
If any legislator won't take action to restore sanity, one must wonder why. Is the legislator that naive that he can't see the gross error of the drug war, or is he profiting from it.
End the drug war now, or turn in your resignation.
It's not a war on drugs, it is a war against people.
