Early Christmas decorating is out of control. We have witnessed first-hand the harmful effects it has on Halloween and fall-themed decorations, and we are tired of it. We ask of the people for their support and of the president for his consideration of an executive order banning early Christmas decorating in the United States and its territories until the day following Thanksgiving. This should be done so that each holiday has equal chance of celebration and Christmas does not become a three-month long endeavor.
