Too often bills are laden with so called "pork." Additions to the bills that often have little to nothing to do with the bills original intent. Paying for relief from a disaster or equipment for the military should not have to include money for a pet project that has absolutely nothing to do with what the bill is trying to accomplish.
A good example is the Sandy Relief Bill. Americans in the area desperately need help, but, instead the bill is being delayed due to things like $150 Million dollars going to Alaskan Fisheries, and that's just one of the many earmarks attached to the bill.
We implore this administration to stand up and put an end to this type of reckless behavior.
