The electoral college takes the power from the people and gives it to officials. This takes away the power that should be given to us by the constitution. The constitution says We The people in the very beginning of the preamble, meaning We the people of the united states should have the power NOT a small group of people. There have been 5 times when the electoral college gave the election to someone who lost the popular vote further proving that We The People of the united states have next to no power due to the electoral college. Our goal is to end the electoral college and restore the power given to the people by the constitution.
