end the Electoral College and to elect the President of the U.S. by each individual vote (popular vote).

Created by J.W. on November 12, 2012

The Electoral College does not let the "People of the United States" elect a President. In essence a group of 538 individuals elect the President. How is this fair to the people of the United States? Most states have no laws regarding to how an "Elector" must vote, so they do not have to vote accordingly to how the majority of the state voted as individuals. It is time to abolish the Electoral College as a process of electing the President or any other type of Government Official. The President of the United States should be elected only when a majority of it's "people" as in each citizen of the United States votes for him or her.
