It's a pretty simple idea-when the electoral college was created, it, at the time, kinda sorta balanced out the power in this country between big and small states. Now, certain states (OHIO) have more influence than you could ever believe-THREE times in our history the electoral college denied the popular vote because states with said power swayed it away. It's an abuse of power, dated, and completely unbeneficial to the average American. One person, one vote, with no one having the upper hand. Thank you for reading.
