I SUGGEST:
Voter confidence are at record lows.
Americans feel their voice is not being heard.
It is no longer 1813 or even 1913.
People are not scattered throughout rural U.S. anymore.
No longer do you need someone to vote for you by proxy. Citizens who couldn't leave their farms or families for a week to go vote, is the reason for the electoral collage was put in place.
We are in vastly different times.
Our system is muddled with failures and cloudy procedures.
Transparency is essential for a free America.
The Popular Vote is the only way to be truly free.
