The current electoral college voting system has antidemocracy aspects by having intermediary electors and a state by state system. This is a system that worked well 200 years ago. However, times have changed. It's been proven by the past many elections that the popular vote is not electing our president. If we are the "United States" and want to remain united in a democracy, then we should consider letting every vote count and let popular vote elect the president.
