End the embargo against Cuba, close the U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, and establish diplomatic relations with Cuba.

The embargo of Cuba has been in place for more than sixty years and has had no effect. At this point, it remains in place as little more than a failed relic of the Cold War; the only obstacle remaining in front of its removal is a misapplied sense of tradition and stubbornness.
The United States maintains full diplomatic relations with many nations that have a much worse human rights record than Cuba. Much more good can be accomplished through peaceful dialogue and constructive engagement. The separation of families over decades only should be reason to end this.
The naval station at Guantanamo Bay has no strategic value to our nation, considering the range of modern military equipment. Its location outside our borders has only served as an excuse to flaunt US and international laws.
