We petition the Obama administration to end the embargo placed on Cuba. Such a policy is no longer useful. It is a remnant of red fear that does not apply to modern times. Our neighbor to the south has not been a "threat" for many years. It would benefit our nation to seek a diplomatic relationship with Cuba that has not existed for over 50 years. Cuban Americans face ridiculous travel restrictions that prevent them from visiting family in their home country. We have nothing to fear from Cuba, and would benefit mutually from renewed travel and trade. Please reverse this outdated policy.
