The embargo...
1. hurts the Cuban people, not the government. We are denying them food, clean water, medicine, clothing, and cars.
2. has lasted over 50 years yet nothing has come of it. There is no purpose of keeping an embargo, that originated during the Cold War era, on a country .
3. allows thousands of Cubans to risk their lives to cross 90 miles of ocean to get to Florida.
4. lets American people be punished because they're caught with Cuban products. Why should we put our own people behind bars when the intent of the embargo was to hurt Cuba's government?
5. does a lot more harm than it does good. Too bad there is a character limit of 800. I could keep on going.
