End the embargo with Cuba and open up trade.

Created by L.D. on November 13, 2012

In 1962 Russians invaded Cuba pointed missiles at the United States of America. JFK was right in the embargo at first, but this has gone on for too long. Re-opening trade with Cuba will dramatically boost the American economy, because the citizens of Cuba have not had access to new cars since 1962. Re-establishing trade with Cuba not only promotes our economy, but Cuba's economy as well. It has been fifty years since Russia put missiles in Cuba. Russia's missiles were placed in Cuba and pointed at the united States, not Cuba's. Once trade routes are opened with Cuba we could become allies and support tourism with Cuba to make sure nothing like the Cuban Missile Crisis ever occurs again. Trading with Cuba would create jobs, something we need right now.
