End the emphasis on standardized tests.

Created by C.V. on May 19, 2015

The pressures associated with standardized tests have risen over the years. In this generation, students are far more preoccupied with worrying about a test grade rather than learning the tangible material. This has devalued the priveledge to knowledge. Students receive an education to expand their wisdom and apply it to real life. In a real life job you need to complete tasks on time and understand how to communicate with others properly. While there is some testing still associated with certain jobs, being a good test taker it is not considered a valuable asset to employers. Employers are searching for that retained knowledge and application of skills. Standardized tests play a huge role in the future of students when they should only play a part.
