End employment discrimination against those arrested and never convicted

There is no doubt that everyone is entitled to due process under our constitution, and no presumption of guilt shall be made by anyone unless an individual is convicted by a judge or jury of his or her peers. By denying an individual any job (including law enforcement job) solely based on previous arrest where no convictions were made, shows there is a presumption of guilt even after a case was dismissed in the interest of justice. This violates our rights under the constitution and should not be accepted. It is not uncommon for law enforcement to make mistakes which may lead to unjust arrest or for someone to be a victim of false accustations which may also lead to their arrest. An individual should not have to pay for this mistake and be discriminated against when applying for a job.
