We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

End the endless cycle of homework.

Created by C.R. on August 28, 2016

Every night kids go home and they have hours of homework, it makes them miss out on a lot of family and friends time along with sleep. Kids spend an average of 14 hours a week on take home homework (http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/6334502). Kids go to school generally from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM children should be sent with work they didn't finish in class not 5-6 take home work sheets. Kids would rather be eating dinner with their families, having a family night or going out with friends or having extra curricular activities to do after school such as sports or a book club. Please sign this petition so kids have more time to spend time with family and friends because it generally helps them be a better student and have a better mental health.
