The damage caused by forcing us to use gas with 10% ethanol is well-documented. There are many stories of drivers suffering engine damage, sometimes catastrophic. And everyone has to buy more fuel since E10 gas reduces gas mileage by up to 20% (which drives up the price of all goods that must be transported). Yet in spite of this, your Administration wants to increase the mandate to 15% ethanol, to cause more engine damage and even less fuel efficiency? Completely unacceptable!
We the People CANNOT AFFORD to pay more at the pump, and the grocery (and all other) stores! We CANNOT AFFORD to have our engines rebuilt regularly, or to go out and buy new, flex-fuel cars!
Imposing foolish & harmful measures like E15 causes more harm than good to the cause of finding VIABLE alternate fuels.
