End Euthanasia in Animal Shelters

There are approximately 3.7 million animals euthanized in animal shelters across the U.S each year!! These shelters are thought to be safe havens for animals, when in fact they are really a death trap. Euthanasia in shelters has become an epidemic & it is up to us, as U.S. citizens to end it. In fact, there are many alternatives to euthanasia such as adoption & fostering animals. Many shelters have websites where dogs & cats scheduled to die the next day are posted. It's as easy as calling up the shelter & placing the animal on hold. Each year, more and more shelters are turning into "no-kill" shelters, where euthanasia is not an option under any circumstance. If more shelters turn "no-kill," not only will innocent animals' lives be saved, but euthanasia in shelters will be put to an end.
