Stop the euthanasia of innocent homeless animals across the nation. Any animals left unadopted in shelters after 3 months should be trained and used as therapy pets to aid in mental illness reform, tragedy coping and disaster relief.
It has been proven that animals can change the lives of those suffering from mental illness and disabilities.
Animals should have the same rights as humans and should not be subjected to death anymore than the millions of prisoners we keep in the system. If violent offenders, rapist, sex offenders, murders and the like can be kept alive sucking our tax dollars down the drain, then every animal should have the right to live as well. They don't commit violent acts, they provide love.
