During a government shutdown hundreds of thousands of federal workers are furloughed without pay.
Many federal employees, however, are EXEMPT from furloughs:
- the President
- presidential appointees
- members of Congress.
In signing this petition, you are asking to PERMANENTLY END THE EXEMPTION FROM FURLOUGHS FOR THE PRESIDENT, PRESIDENTIAL APPOINTEES, AND MEMBERS OF CONGRESS.
