The ASPCA estimates that over 100 million farm animals in America are slaughtered for food. While recognized that meat is a much loved food here in America, it is time to stop the cruelty of the way these animals are raised. Turkeys, chickens, pigs, and cows are all kept in terrible conditions their whole lives. To get an idea, visit the ASPCA page on all factory farming. Especially pay attention to the pictures. Try living as a pig stuck in a cage surrounded by bars unable to turn around or see anything except the caged pig directly in front of you for six months. From birth to slaughter.
