Everyone in America knows the war on drugs is an absolute failure and joke. It is and utter waist of money and resources and harms more than It helps. And with recent studies we now know that we are treating addiction in the wrong way. Drugs don't necessarily need to be made legal but let's at least get rid of imprisonment for simple possession and consider simple physiological or health evaluations of that person and try to actually help them. Instead of spending billions to keep them locked up let's spend it on a working rehabilitation system and stop the cycle that comes with our current system.
