The Federal Government has an obligation and, more importantly, the means to fight obesity which is plaguing Americans of all ages and at all levels of society. Specifically there is a link between the advent of mass-consumption of high fructose corn syrups (HFCS) and the progression of the obesity epidemic in America.
As the Voice for the Voiceless, it is the Responsibility of the Obama Administration to:
1. End the Agricultural Subsidies on #2 Yellow Dent Corn and Similar Varieties that are Grown Specifically for the Manufacture of HFCS.
2. Consider Banning, or Limiting Levels of HFCS in Foods via the FDA.
