END federal and state recognition of religious holidays. Make 1 national holiday a "Celebration of Religious Freedom"

Created by J.A. on January 24, 2014

Every religious group wants a federal or state holiday for their "special" day/s. This just isn't possible. Presently the US recognizes Easter and Christmas which are religious holidays, which makes it apprear as though the Federal government favors one religion over all the others in violation of the constitution. Muslims want their holidays recognized for all muslims...Christian holidays apply to everyone...Hindus have no holidays in the US among many other religions. In the United States, the melting pot of the world...it seems reasonable to have a National Holiday as a "Celebration of Religious Freedom". People who do not want to work on their actual religious holiday can use their vacation time, or work that day. Schools will only recognize the national holiday. Embrace Reason.
