End the Federal Prohibition and Regulation of Marijuana

Let each state ban or regulate the sale of marijuana. The federal government spends millions of dollars to keep marijuana out of the United States. This strategy isn't working and only empowers criminal organizations. Many Americans have different opinions about this drug and I think some state governments represent people that are more socially liberal than others. A federal ban limits the freedom of choice for ALL Americans. Please vote to end the federal ban on marijuana. The federal government can save millions of dollars and use those savings toward balancing the budget.
