The fractional reserve system of banking does not work and it has been the cause of the severe gap in wealth that we have seen over the past 80 years.
According to the US constitution Congress has the power to regulate monetary affairs within the country so it could therefore revoke all debts to the Federal reserve bank. This would be the easiest way to completely end the deficit and move to a stable currency that reflects reality and not just the idea of economic growth.
The federal reserve bank is a private organization and has been refusing to work with congress so congress must take control.
All i want is for Obama to address this issue outright to the public and encourage congress to fully audit and end the Federal reserve or at least null the debts to the federal reserve.
