Decriminalize marijuana (and all currently scheduled drugs) for private use; tax them heavily, and regulate their production, ending black market control of these substances and turning the profit from them over to the people. Use a portion of the tax revenue collected to maintain regulation, rehabilitation programs and provide funding for universities to study the efficacy, effects, and possible therapeutic uses of such powerfully mind-altering substances as LSD, DMT, and MDMA. Release all prisoners currently held within American prisons on non-violent drug charges.
