With numerous cases in or headed to court regarding whether companies and other entities should be granted religious exemption from the affordable care act. We should seek to end this wasteful and distracting set of efforts.
Religious groups, companies and organizations wish to either be exempt from providing health plans to their employees on the religious grounds that if the plan offer free birth control or pays for abortions, offering the plan would be a violation of the company owners rights.
Compromise. Allow health plans with the "religiously objectionable" services stripped out and a slightly lower fee to the company for these plans. However, employees must be able to directly to the Plan Sponsor and get those services for a fee not to exceed $10 per month
