The filibuster has made it possible for lawmakers to block any bill they don't like, even the most innocuous. Because of this, the 112th Congress of the United States was the least productive in history. We need to put an end to the legality of the filibuster; it infringes on the rights of citizens, decreases productivity in our lawmakers, and makes sure that we, the people, are not getting what we voted for in our Congressmen.
