End the 'filibuster'.

Created by J.G. on January 24, 2012

The filibuster is a wasteful, pointless tactic that denies the right of the Government to move forward with it's agenda. There is a time and a place for sensible debate on the issues, but allowing Senators to remove the potential for a vote by giving a speech with unrestricted time or content does little to aid the democratic process.

End the filibuster now, and ensure that when a political party has a majority, it can get to work and pass the bills it was elected to pass.
