Summary of Main Findings of the NRC Report (2006)
The NRC concluded that there was evidence to demonstrate that fluoride exposure contributed to causing cancers and well as promoting cancers, fluoride exposure impairs glucose metabolism, causes impaired glucose tolerance and decreases insulin production.
Fluoride exposure increases the production of free radicals in the brain, impairs brain function, causes neurotoxic effects on the brain, affects the general nervous system and increases the risk of developing Alzheimer’s.
