In February of 2013, detainees at Guantanamo Bay organized a hunger strike in protest of their continued detention without official charges or a trial. In response, employees at Guantanamo have been ordered to insert feeding tubes into the nasal passages, down the esophagi and into the stomachs of striking detainees.
On the grounds that this is inhumane and in violation of personal sovereignty, we ask that the Executive Branch intervene and cease the continued unnecessary torture of these men.
