The Obama Administration should immediately release prisoners being held without charges at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Recently published accounts reveal gross abuses of human rights against such prisoners, including force-feeding, solitary confinement, and beatings.
These protracted & grotesque abuses of human beings whose alleged wrongdoings have never been clearly identified do nothing to improve the security of this nation. Further, the senseless suffering of prisoners at Guantanamo Bay goes against all we are meant to stand for as a nation, in terms of justice and human rights.
